UPDATE: Blizzard announced after the second map of the South Korea vs United States series that it would be the last of the evening of the first day, with the semifinal matches originally schedule for that night, being moved to tomorrow. This post’s schedule has been updated to reflect that.

The day has finally come, as the top eight teams are set to square off against one another in the 2017 Overwatch World Cup. Just after this year’s BlizzCon gets underway, the finest national teams in the world will compete for the title of World Champion.

The tournament’s first day at BlizzCon will feature both the quarterfinals and semifinals as the top eight teams are cut down to just four, to determine who will play in tomorrow’s Finals and third place match. The marquee match up of day one will take place during the quarterfinals when the tournament favorites, will take on the home team, as South Korea face off against the United States.

This will be the first opportunity that fans will get to see all of the new Overwatch spectator changes that Blizzard has made to the game over the last several months, including team uniforms, specially colored visual effects and improved camera movements.
