At BlizzCon 2017, the Overwatch development team revealed yet another surprise. In addition to the beautiful new Blizzard World map coming next year, there will be eight new Blizzard themed skins coming to Overwatch’s heroes.
- Immortal Orisa (Starcraft)
- Magni Bronzebeard Torbjorn (Warcraft)
- Nova Widowmaker (Starcraft)
- Blackhand Doomfist (Warcraft)
- Barbarian Zarya (Diablo)
- Butcher Roadhog (Diablo)
There are also two new skins based off of some of the character centric cinematics that Blizzard has recently released.
- Crusader Reinhardt
- Ecopoint Mei
Even better, all eight of these skins will not be released in some kind of seasonal event. Instead, these skins will be added into the vanilla Overwatch loot boxes for all players to get ahold of at any time.
We likely won’t see these skins hit live servers until early next year when Blizzard World releases. In the meantime, what other Blizzard themed skins would you like to see for your favorite Overwatch heroes?
New cosmetics are coming to Overwatch in early 2018!
