The Overwatch League has its first official partnership between a team and a brand as the Dallas Fuel announced today that they would be officially partnering with Jack in the Box.
The partnership will include the right for Jack in the Box to be the official jersey sponsor of both the Dallas Fuel and their parent company’s Call of Duty team, Team Envy. As a result, the Dallas Fuel’s out of game uniforms are likely to carry the restaurant company’s signature red logo.
This is the first announcement of a partnership of this kind in Overwatch League, but more are expected soon for both the Fuel and the other teams in the Overwatch League. These kind partnerships help teams to grow their reach as well as their organization through the sponsorship opportunities.
While a majority of teams haven’t announce partnerships yet, the Overwatch League itself has announced several partnerships including, most recently, a partnerships between the Overwatch League, HP’s Omen brand and Intel who will be providing computers for the league’s competitions for at least its first few years.
