Overwatch World Cup rosters for Team USA and Team Canada announced

Both teams are anchored by veteran players and should stand a better chance than last year!

In advance of the Overwatch World Cup Group Stages, which begin in late July, Blizzard has announced the rosters that will be representing Team USA and Team Canada in the competition.

Team USA

  • Jacob "JAKE" Lyon (DPS)
  • Jay "sinatraa" Won (DPS)
  • Matt "coolmatt69" Iorio (Flex)
  • Russell "FCTFCTN" Campbell (Tank)
  • Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty (Support)
  • Adam "Adam" Eckel (Support)

Team Canada

  • Lane "Surefour" Roberts (DPS)
  • Brady "Agilities" Girardi (DPS)
  • Liam "Mangachu" Campbell (DPS)
  • Félix "xQc" Lengyel (Tank)
  • Randal "Roolf" Stark (Support)
  • Joe "Joemeister" Gramano (Support)

Fans of the growing Overwatch professional scene will recognize players like Faze Clan’s FCTFCNT, as well as sinatraa who plays for Selfless when he isn’t representing his country. On Team Canada the star player is Immortals’ DPS and chief Genji player, Agilities.

Team Canada’s World Cup journey will start in Katowice, Poland as they take on the members of Group F which will include Russia, Singapore and Turkey. Team USA, meanwhile, leads Group G and will play in Bubank, United States against Chinese Taipei, Brazil and New Zealand.
