The final qualifier for the Overwatch World Cup has come to an end as the United Kingdom and the United States qualify for the Playoffs at Blizzcon.

The US team entered their group as heavy favorites and, despite a bit of competition from the Chinese Taipei team, managed to qualify with little struggle, dropping only one game in the group portion of the qualifier. In the Playoff section, the United States faced off against Germany, and were able to sweep the best-of-five series and advance easily to Blizzcon.

Meanwhile, in the other group to compete this weekend in Santa Monica, the United Kingdom managed to push through their group with little resistance going undefeated in the group stage, before sweeping Chinese Taipei in the playoffs.

The United States and United Kingdom will join previous qualifiers, China, South Korea, Sweden, France, Canada and Australia at the final stage of the tournament at Blizzcon in November, to determine who will win the Overwatch World Cup 2017.
