UPDATE 08-21-2017: In a preview stream for Gamescom, Blizzard confirmed that the new map will be Junkertown, an escort map set in Australia. Junkertown’s Queen has barred Junkrat and Roadhog, as explained in this short (which is not the new cinematic, but a nice little bonus!) We’ll presumably see more Junkertown lore content when the cinematic is revealed on Wednesday.
Roadhog and Junkrat have returned home to JUNKERTOWN!

We get a closer look at the map, and an inspiring speech from its queen, in this map preview. The map is full of dying omnics, lots of loot, and moving platforms. All of this is awesome, as long as our team remembers to stay on the payload.
Next week is Gamescom 2017, a gaming convention held in Cologne, Germany. As usual, Blizzard will be attending and bringing plenty of new stuff to show along with them. Each of their games is there in some capacity this year and they will have events for Wednesday-Saturday.
With Overwatch specifically, Blizzard has announced that they will be announcing and showing off a brand new map. Players have apparently been able to pull game files from the PTR of Athene, Winston’s AI and Overwatch’s announcer, stating “Welcome to Junkertown.” Assuming this leak is accurate (as other PTR mines have been), we could be headed to Roadhog and Junkrat’s world of ... junk. We will know more when Blizzard has their reveal ceremony on Wednesday, August 23 at 18:00 CEST.
Among a few other things such as a making of Doomfist panel, Doomfist cosplayers and the German voice actors of Overwatch, Blizzard will be revealing the latest animated short. Both the short and the reveal event will be available to watch on Blizzard’s Gamescom stream.
