If you have friends who are interested in Overwatch, but have yet to give it a shot, now’s your chance. The game will be free to play from September 22nd through to the 25th. All content, including the upcoming Junkertown map, will be available to play for newcomers.

Not only will guests get to play all maps and heroes, they’ll also be able to level up and earn loot boxes. Should they decide to buy the game after the free weekend, they’ll keep their free weekend progress.

Overwatch has provided all content for free since the game’s launch, but the initial price tag can be a barrier for newcomers who want to give the game a whirl before they commit. These free weekends are perfect for players who want to try Overwatch out before they buy. The last free weekend was back in May, and since then we’ve gotten a new hero (Doomfist) and a new game mode (Deathmatch).

The free weekend starts just after the September 19th patch, which will contain the new escort map Junkertown.
