Ashe and Bob join Overwatch competitive play

Hopefully your teammates in ranked use her well

Blizzard Entertainment

When a new hero comes out, they’re initially restrained to just quick play. This is meant to allow everyone to get a handle on the character and their kit before they barrel into the deeper water of ranked play and risk tanking their teammates’ ladder standing. This especially makes sense when new heroes are complex and require some time to understand the nuances of their kit... like, say, Hero 29, Ashe.

Ashe has finally hit competitive play, so you’re free to run that triple (or quadruple, if a wise support locks in Ana) sniper comp of your dreams. If you’re the sort of person who likes to only play with the most elite, you may want to keep an eye on your Ashe teammates. On the other hand, you might be the sort of player who immediately locks in Ashe and prepares to rain down the chaos you’ve been preparing in quick play for the last couple of months.

May your BOBs be bountiful and your season’s harvest impressive! Best of luck taking Ashe into ranked play.
