Overwatch is currently half off for the holidays

Overwatch is currently celebrating the holiday season with neat skins like Snowboarder Zarya and Sugar Plum Fairy Mercy, but they’re extending the festivities to a sale on every edition of the game. The game is currently 50% off for the standard and legendary editions. If you have the standard edition, you can upgrade to the legendary edition for 50% off as well.

If you have played a free trial of Overwatch before, your progress will carry over to the unlocked game. This is part of Blizzard’s holiday charm, along with a stop-motion short starring Reaper, Tracer and Santa.

Since it’s the holiday season, Overwatch is a pretty great gift if you have any friends you want to drag into ranked play with you. Before long, you can get their account up to a high enough level, and you can find joy in listening to your friends complain about Hanzo and Ashe mains, just like the rest of us.

The sale is set to end on Jan. 7, so you have plenty of time to weigh your options.
