Overwatch’s next seasonal event, the festive Winter Wonderland bash, will return to the game on Dec. 11, Blizzard Entertainment announced today.
Winter Wonderland 2018 will run from Dec. 11 through Jan. 2, bringing with it the usual holiday-themed skins and cosmetics, as well as an aesthetic change to the map Blizzard World. Blizzard is decking the halls of Hearthstone Tavern with a Christmas theme, as teased in a tweet from the official Overwatch Twitter account. Blizzard has given similar snowy themes to the maps Hanamura and King’s Row during the holidays.

Expect Blizzard to roll out additional teasers for Winter Wonderland 2018 in the coming days.
Last year’s Winter Wonderland event brought with it a batch of new skins for Ana, Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Roadhog, Soldier: 76 and Sombra, as well as a new game mode, Yeti Hunt. The first Winter Wonderland was added to Overwatch in 2016, and included a new game mode called Mei’s Snowball Offensive.
