The Overwatch League is just past the halfway point of its first season and the talent on display has been impressive every single week. With the season quickly coming to a close, Blizzard has announced that it’s time to start looking at who will be crowned the Overwatch League’s first ever Most Valuable Player.
The MVP voting process is one that will involve both fans, and the Overwatch broadcast team, according to Blizzard. The broadcasters vote counts for about 75 percent of the selection, while fan votes count for the other 25. Fans can vote simply by tweeting their favorite player’s name or Battletag along with the hashtag #OWLMVP. Fans can also keep track of which players are at the top of the voting simply by check Blizzard’s MVP page.
The Overwatch League’s MVP will be announced on July 11, during day one of the Overwatch League Playoffs at the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles.
