100% of proceeds for Pink Mercy will go toward breast cancer research

Blizzard Entertainment

Blizzard is partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation with a new Overwatch skin promotion. This will be the second major charity promotion after February’s Puppy Rumble. Unlike the Puppy Rumble, the Pink Mercy promotion offers in-game cosmetics, themed around Overwatch’s most intrepid medical specialist.

Pink Mercy is a new in-game skin, and there will be in-game sprays, Twitch chat emotes, and a limited-time t-shirt sold as well. 100 percent of proceeds will go toward the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, with a minimum of $250,000 USD guaranteed to go toward the cause.

Pink Mercy is the first skin with a one-time unlock cost; she is not available in loot boxes. She can be purchased for $15 USD from today through to May 21.

Along with Pink Mercy and her assorted cosmetics, there will be daily charity streams by community members, with all donations adding to the total tally.
