Overwatch’s next free weekend will be July 26-30

The Grand Finals AND a free weekend? That’s so much Overwatch!

Blizzard Entertainment

With the Overwatch League Grand Finals quickly approaching, Blizzard is making Overwatch free to try on all three platforms later this month. From July 26-30, anyone with a Playstation 4 and Playstation Plus, an Xbox One with Xbox Live, or a computer and a Battle.net account will have full access to Overwatch.

Free weekends give players full access to the hero roster (including Wrecking Ball, who is due to release on July 24th), all maps, quick play, custom modes, and arcade mode. You will be able to level up, earn loot boxes, and save your progress. Once a player purchases Overwatch, their progress from the free weekend carries over.

The free weekend will begin on July 26 at 11:00 a.m. PDT and end on July 30 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Now’s a great time to get your friends into the game. If you’re looking to get started yourself, but aren’t sure where to start, check out our new player guide.
