Overwatch’s Ana-focused ‘Bastet’ event kicks off today

Overwatch players have a new in-game event to keep them occupied for the next few weeks. Similar to last year’s Nano Cola event that focused on D.Va and offered free cosmetic goodies, Overwatch’s new event will focus on Ana and comes with a handful of free unlockable cosmetics, including a new epic skin for the support sniper.

From Jan. 8-21, players will be able to earn five sprays, a player icon, victory pose, and Ana’s Bastet skin (pictured above) by playing Overwatch and watching streamers on Twitch. To earn some of those cosmetic items, you’ll need to win games in either Arcade, Quick Play or Competitive Play. Win three games and you’ll unlock Ana’s new player icon. Win six games and you’ll unlock her new victory pose. Win nine games and the Bastet Ana skin is yours.

In-game sprays can be earned by watching select Twitch streamers. Tune in to participating broadcasters — the full schedule is available below — through Jan. 21.
